Angled Edges

No outside Filters required.
Open any tube in PSP - it can be resized later.
Select 2 colors from the tube - a lighter color for foreground and a darker color for background
1. File, image, new transparent raster layer, 500 px by 500 px.
2. Create a gradient from foreground background colors with following settings:
Adjust/add noise - following settings
3. Edit/copy your tube, and edit/paste as a new layer on your 500 X 500 image.
Don't worry if it is too large for the image.
Effects/distortion/twirl (negative) -180 degrees
Adjust/Blur,/radial blur/following settings:
Layer duplicate, mirror, opacity reduce to 50%
4. Image, borders, add 15 px foreground color.
5. Image, borders, add 30 px background color.
Magic wand-Set both feather and tolerance to 50
Select border.
Flood fill with gradient.
Select none.
6. Image, borders, 15 px background color.
7. Image border, 30 px foreground color.
With feather and tolerance still at 50/50 select border
Reverse foreground background and
Flood fill with gradient.
Select None.
8. Image border, 15 px foreground color.
Return the feather and tolerance of the magic wand to 0/0 and select border.
Selection, promote selection to layer.
Keep selected.
9. Effects, geometric effects, perspective horizontal
Flood fill with gradient.
Select none.
Duplicate layer.
Image/mirror
Image/free rotate/90 degrees left
Effects/3-D drop shadow with following settings
10. Add another border of 15 px foreground color.
11. Image borders, add 5 px background color.
11. Add your main tube, resizing if desired and add any other tubes or decorations.
Export as a Jpeg.
