Error Message - Not a PSP file
I find this happens quite a lot when supplies have been provided for tutorials online.
The files I'm speaking about are saved as PSP files.
It’s almost always because whoever saved the file, saved it in a newer PaintShop Pro than the one that I’m using. Say it was saved in PSP X9 and I try to open it in PSP 10. It will show an error message.
You can fix this for future images.
When you’ve finished editing your image, and you’re ready to save…
Go to File/Save as/
Click on the options button at bottom right of screen.
A new box will open like this
Highlight PSP 9 compatible file. Click OK
This will ensure that any Paint Shop Pro after PSP 9 will be able to open this file.
