Filters Required: Filters Unlimited 2 - Tramages - DSB Flux
Skill Level Required: INTERMEDIATE
I've begun applying skill level to my tutorials, BUT, don't be afraid to give it a try. This is how you learn!
Put the three masks in supply folder in your MASK file.
Download Supplies ... HERE
1. Open 575 by 550 blank raster canvas.
2. Flood fill the canvas with #397795
3. Layers/load mask/load mask from disc/Tag Frames_BG 38. Right click on layer palette/merge group. Duplicate/merge down. Duplicate/merge down. Image/resize/all layers NOT checked/110% Name this layer: NOISE 1.
2. Add new raster layer. Flood fill new layer with a shade lighter than above. Layers/load/load mask from disk/Tag Frames_BG 37. Right click on layer palette/merge group/duplicate/merge down/ Image/resize/all layers not checked/88%. Use magic wand to select inside the blue. Effects/filter effects/Filters Unlimited 2/Tramages/Tow the Line/these settings:
(You may have Tramages in a stand alone filter outside of Filters Unlimited.)
3. Add new raster layer. Flood fill new layer with a lime green or bright yellow. Your choice. Layers/load/load mask from disk/Tag Frames_bg 27. Right click on layer palette/merge down/duplicate/merge down. Images/Resize/all layers NOT checked/80%. Name this layer: NOISE 2.
4. Add new raster layer/arrange/send to bottom. Set background color to pale blue. Foreground color off. Go to your rectangle tool and draw out a square under the inner square on your image like this:
5. Use magic want to select inside the pale blue square. Effects/filter effects/Photo effex/Scanlines/these settings:
6. Select the darker blue stripe with magic wand. Right click on layer palette and promote selection to layer. Name this layer: NOISE 3.
7. Open FAIRY. Edit/copy/paste as new layer/arrange/move to top. Effects/image effects/offset/horizontal -72/vertical 0/wrap checked/custom checked. Duplicate. Name FAIRY 1 and FAIRY 2. Close out fairy 2. Zoom in on Fairy 1. Activate your warp brush and pull her lips down in small strokes to close them. Example:
8. Go to Fairy 1 and select the blue hearts she is blowing in air. Right click on layer palette and promote selection to layer. Back to Fairy 1 edit/cut. Go to fairy 2 with selection still active/edit/cut. Go up to your promoted selection and select the smaller of the hearts with rectangle selection tool. Right click and promote selection to layer. Back down to Fairy 2/edit/cut/same with fairy 1. You should now have two separate hearts. arrange so bigger heart (Name Heart 1) is beneath smaller hear in layer palette. Duplicate the larger heart. Image Resize/all layers not checked/85%. Name new heart Heart 2. move it one layer above larger heart. Duplicate the smallest heart. Name it heart 4. Name the first small heart Heart 3. Arrange in your layer palette heart 1, heart 2/heart3/heart 4.
Close out all hearts.
ANIMATION STATION
Have FAIRY 1 open, FAIRY 2 closed.
No hearts are open at this time.
9. Go to each NOISE layer and effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/add bright noise/60. Be sure to apply to NOISE 1, NOISE 2 AND NOISE 3.
Layers/Merge visible/save as PSP 1
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each noise layer.
10. Go to each NOISE layer and effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/add bright noise/65. Be sure to apply to NOISE 1, NOISE 2 AND NOISE 3.
Layers/Merge visible/save as PSP 2
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each noise layer.
11. Go to each NOISE layer and effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/add bright noise/70. Be sure to apply to NOISE 1, NOISE 2 AND NOISE 3.
Layers/Merge visible/save as PSP 3
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each noise layer.
CLOSE OUT FAIRY 1 AND OPEN FAIRY 2.
Open HEART 1.
12. Go to each NOISE layer and effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/add bright noise/75. Be sure to apply to NOISE 1, NOISE 2 AND NOISE 3.
Layers/Merge visible/save as PSP 4
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each noise layer.
Open HEART 2. Be sure to keep HEART 1 open too.
13. Go to each NOISE layer and effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/add bright noise/80. Be sure to apply to NOISE 1, NOISE 2 AND NOISE 3.
Layers/Merge visible/save as PSP 5
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each noise layer.
Open HEART 3. Be sure to keep HEART 1 and 2 open too.
14. Go to each NOISE layer and effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/add bright noise/85. Be sure to apply to NOISE 1, NOISE 2 AND NOISE 3.
Layers/Merge visible/save as PSP 6
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each noise layer.
Open HEART 4. Be sure to keep HEART 1, 2 and 3 open too.
15. Go to each NOISE layer and effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/add bright noise/90. Be sure to apply to NOISE 1, NOISE 2 AND NOISE 3.

ANIMATION SHOP
Open your animation shop.
File/animation wizard/next/next/next/frame properties 17/add images in this order:

FINISH/NAME AND SAVE TAG
(I included SIMONE PreAnimated MNG file you can see above on my finished tag. It is in your folder and already sized to fit. Keep your tag open in animation shop, open the MNG file/Edit/select all/propagate paste/back to your tag/paste into selected/in lower left corner.
