UNABLE TO OPEN FILE TYPE
How many times have
you tried to open an image and PSP says it’s not a recognized file?
The image has
probably been made in a later version of PaintShop Pro.
If you have the later version ( I have PSP 9 and 19)
Open PSP 19 or whichever version you have and the
image you want to open.
Go to File/Save as/..
A box will open. Go down to the very bottom, right hand side
where it says Options and click on it.
This box will open
Click under version
where it says save as
You now have options to save as a compatible file for all these versions of PSP.
I think most people have PSP 9 or higher so I always save as a PSP 9 compatible file.
Just highlight psp9 and click ok.
Now everyone will be able to open your file.
