QUICK TOOLS TIPS
CREATING YOUR
WATERMARK
I should say there
are many tutorials for watermarks, but I always go back to this one.
Open an image 200 x
110
Select a nice clean
font. Set it to about size 20 or
whatever size you want. Foreground null, background any colour as you will
delete it.
Set the style as
floating.
If you look over at
your layer palette you will see you have an active layer, it says floating
selection, right click and delete. You
will still have marching ants around your text.
Go to Texture Effects/Emboss
RepeatGo back to your text and add a drop shadow. 1, 1, 30, 1
Repeat using -1/-1/30/1
Select None.
To crop your
watermark, pick the selection tool.
Go to the layer opaque, box, the one that is blue in
the image below
You will notice when
you click on this box, you will get marching ants close up to your signature.
Image/Crop to
selection.
You can save it or
export as a picture tube so it’s handy to put onto any work you create.
