HOW TO FADE YOUR IMAGE IN PSP
There are many ways to fade your image.
This is one I use quite a bit.
It's achieved with no outside filters or masks
Open your image
Layers/New Raster Layer and fill with a colour of choice. I selected a creamy colour, flood fill your new layer with this
Now go to your layer palette and reduce the opacity on the new layer to whatever you wish.
I reduced this layer to 56
Layers merge visible
You can also add a texture at this point if you wish.
