BUTTERFLY GARDEN
1. Open 525 by 500 blank canvas.
2. Open bottom FRAME. Edit/copy/paste as new layer. Name this layer: NOISE 1
3. Set background color to #038fb3. Turn off foreground color.
4. Open Preset Shape ROUND FRAME_BG 6. Line width 5.00. Draw out the shape to within 1/4 inch of sides and top and bottom. Objects/align/center in canvas. Name this layer: NOISE 2.
5. Keep background color as above, foreground color off. Find and draw out preset shape 315 in center of canvas about 4 inches by 3 inches. Objects/align/center in canvas. Effects/image effects/offset/horizontal 0/vertical -120. Use magic wand to select inside the blue. Effects/filter effects/Filters Unlimited 2/Paper textures/Cardboard box course/these settings:
6. Still on image/selections/select all/float/defloat/modify/select/selection borders/5/add new raster layer/flood fill selection on new layer with #94b159
7. Still on the new green border you just made/images/resize/all layers NOT checked/99%. Merge the green border down into the blue word plate. Name WORD PLATE.
8. Move the WORD PLATE one layer beneath the blue border frame. You should now have this:
9. Move to top of your image. Set background color to white, foreground color off. Draw out a circle/ellipse about 4 inches by 4 inches. Objects/align/center on canvas. Selections/select all/float/defloat/modify/select/selection borders/7/add new raster layer/flood fill selection on new layer with #94b159 (same green as above.)
10. Select inside the white circle with your magic wand. Choose one of the pond backgrounds from your supply folder. Open/edit/copy/paste into selection. Adjust sharpen. If you like the look, merge the green frame down with the now new pond image. Use your freehand selection to outline JUST THE WATER area of the pond image. When you have it completely outlined, (be sure to go around flowers etc), promote selection to layer. Name new layer: NOISE 3.
11. Go back to your green frame, image/resize/all layers NOT checked/97%. Merge frame down with pond image. (NOT with your promoted selection). Merge down with original pond image.
12. Choose butterflies, as many as you like, and edit/copy and paste them as shown in finished tag above, OR in position you like. You may have to downsize the butterfly to appropriate size. You can use pick tool to slant them, turn them in position you like.
13. When you have your butterflies in position merge one down with the other.
ANIMATION STATION
14. Go to NOISE LAYER 1. Effects/filter effects/DSB FLUX/add bright noise/75. Apply same to NOISE LAYER 2. Go to NOISE LAYER 3 (the water) and apply same filter but at 45. Layers/merge visible/save as PSP 1.
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each Noise filter.
15. Go back and apply same filter to all three layers, adjusting noise level by 5, 80 for layer 1 and layer 2, and 50 for water layer. Layers/Merge Visible/save as PSP 2.
Edit/undo merge visible/undo each Noise filter.
15. Go back and apply same filter to all three layers, adjusting noise level by 5, 85 for layer 1 and layer 2, and 55 for water layer. Layers/Merge Visible/save as PSP 3.
ANIMATION SHOP
16. Animation shop/animation wizard/next/next/next/frame properties/10/add images/in this order:
1 2 3 - Finish - View - Save Tag As
