I've supplied some pre-made items because in this tutorial you are going to make your own flowers and place them, and you will be using the gradient of your choice (three provided) for the color wheel behind the peace sign. You may also use your own HIPPIE if you have one. I'm looking forward to seeing variations! Download your supply folder by clicking on the daisy!
1. Open 640 by 567 pixel blank canvas.
2. Open BOTTOM CIRCLET. Edit/Copy/Paste as new layer. Name NOISE.
3. Open WHITE CIRCLE. Edit/Copy/Paste as new layer. NAME FILL
4. Open PEACE SIGN. Edit/Copy/Paste as new layer. Effects/3d effects/Drop Shadow/-2/-2/Opacity 20/Blur 0. Apply, then reverse 2/-2/Opacity 20/Blur 0. Name this PEACE SIGN.
5. Set your foreground color to one of the colors you pick from your HIPPIE tube, set background by color picking as well. Set line width to 4 and draw out one of the preset shape flowers in your folder. If you look at finished tag at top of page, you can estimate size, again, however, you are free to size as you like. You are going to cluster a floral group for beneath your HIPPIE tube. Once you have a nice size, convert to raster layer. Use your magic wand to select inside the flower. Effects/Filter Effects/Photo effex/Scanlines. Play with the filter as per width and colors, apply first, then switch by clicking on the vertical box below to get the gingham effect. These were my settings:
With the inside of the flower still active/effects/3d effects/Drop shadow/3/-3/Opacity 30/Blur 0. Apply this shadow to each of the flowers you make.
Once you apply regular, check the VERTICAL TOGGLE and apply again. Do not be afraid to play with the settings and get your own effect, that's how we learn! You can also use another filter of your choice to add an effect to your flowers.
After you finish your first flower, duplicate, merge down, then duplicate again. Move these two flowers into a position to the left of your image, as shown in finished tag. Now make one more flower with the other shape and different colors. Place that between your other two flowers. This is my placement:
6. Open HIPPIE (Or one of your choice) and Edit/Copy/Paste as new layer. Position it as shown in finished tag, over your flower cluster. Name it HIPPIE.
If you choose NOT to animate, you can apply the HELLO if you want to use it, and merge visible/name and save your tag.
ANIMATION STATION
This is actually a very easily animated tag. Once you get the hang of this you will want to use the fill movement in other tags! Set your foreground color to one of the gradients I provided. Set the gradient to these settings:
Be sure you have the RADIAL box checked below the "edit", it's the last in the line. Apply all of the other settings shown.
