6. Open TREE BRANCH.  Edit/copy/paste as new layer.  Effects/image effects/offset/Horizontal -66/Vertical 144/Wrap checked.  Use your freehand selection tool to outline/trace just the leaves on your branch. Hold down the SHIFT key while you are outlining.  Once all three have been done, right click the layer palette and promote selection to layer.  Name this layer NOISE 2.

8.  Still selected, promote selection to layer.  Move back to the mouse layer and edit/cut.  Move up one to the head layer.  Use your pick tool to move his head up as though he's looking at the branch, like this:

9.  Stay on head.  Go to CLONE tool.  Set size to 10. Use your clone tool beginning at just under his mouth where his chin has been cut away and place the tool over the outline and white, right click, then move down slowly along the edge and clone in the missing chin.

Move clone tool slowly to the right and fill in the rest of the face carefully.  Do not worry that you seem to be going over the edge of the scarf because you will be moving the head under the body and that will not show.  In fact, it's better to do so a bit for a seamless look. Move with the same curve where the different shades meet.  When you fill in it should look like this:

Move this head layer one layer beneath the rest of the body.  Merge body down with the head by selecting body layer and merge down to head.  Name this layer MOUSE 2.
