SOMETHING TO CROW ABOUT
Filters required: DSB Flux - Xenofex 2 Constellation and Photo Effex/Scanlines

Get SOMETHING TO CROW ABOUT supplies ... HERE
1. Open 600 by 585 blank canvas.
2. Open BOTTOM BRUSH. Edit/copy/paste as new layer.
3. Use your magic wand to select inside the lighter green area of the dotted frame. Right click/promote selection to layer. Name this layer: NOISE 1.
4. Open BOTTOM TAG. Edit/copy/paste as new layer. Select inside bottom tag with magic wand. Effects/filter effects/Photo effex/scanlines with these settings:
5. Click apply. Effects/filter effects/Photo effex/Scanlines, same settings, this time click the little box that says Vertical Toggle. Apply. Name this TAG BACK.
6. Use magic wand to select inside the light green area of your image. Right click, same as above, on layer palette, promote selection to layer. Name this layer: NOISE 2.
7. Move back to your TAG BACK layer. Go up to selection on top tool bar. Select all/float/defloat/modify/select selection borders/8. Promote selection to layer. Flood fill the selection in the new raster layer with #aa0002.
8. Name this frame layer: NOISE 3.
9. Set foreground color to black and background color to white. Set line width to 4. You will find line width here:
10. Draw out a square in the center of your current canvas over the bottom tag. Aprox 3 inches by 3 inches like this:
11. Go to top tool bar Objects/align/center in canvas:
12. Convert to raster layer. Use magic wand to select the BLACK border and right click promote selection to layer. NAME: CONSTELLATION. Open background image from your supply folder. Select inside the white of your square with magic wand. Edit/copy/paste background image into selection. Adjust sharpen. Merge down. NAME: Background.
13. Still on background square, up to Effects/image effects/offset these settings:
14. Still on background; Image/resize image/with all layers NOT CHECKED, resize by 97%. Up to selections/select all/float/defloat/modify/select selection borders/6/promote selection to layer, flood fill the selection on the new layer with #606f3d
Merge down. Rename BACKGROUND.
15. Open WORD PLATE. Edit/copy/paste as new layer. Move the WORD PLATE down below BACKGROUND. Effects/image effects/offset/Horizontal 0/Vertical - 148. Name Layer: WORD PLATE.
16. Open CROW 1. Edit/copy/paste as new layer. Move into this position:
17. Duplicate the CROW 1. Name first in layer CROW 1 and second CROW 2.
18. Open CROW 3 from supply folder. Edit/copy/paste as new layer in this position:
19. Go to CROW 1. Close it out. Go to CROW 2. Zoom in on image to about 250%. Use your freehand selection tool to work on animating his beak. Outline the top portion of the beak only:
20. Once outlined, right click in layer palette and promote selection to layer. Name this new layer: BEAK. With selection still active Move back down to CROW 2 image and edit/cut.
21. Go to BEAK layer. Use your pick tool to move the beak OPEN as shown below:
22. When you have your beak as you like it. Move down to the layer beneath your crow 2. Set your background color to black, foreground color off. Use your vector pen tool to draw in a half circle beneath the crow's beak like this:
23 Click apply. Go back up to CROW 2 and merge down. Go up to the BEAK and merge down.
24. Now back to your freehand selection tool. Zoom in, outline the apple and half arm and all of the hand area of the CROW 2. Like this:
25. Promote selection to layer. Name layer: ARMS
26. Back to crow with still selected, edit/cut.
27. Go to ARMS layer. Use your pick tool to turn and move up the apple near his mouth like this:
28. Still on ARMS layer. Click on your CLONE tool. With size set to 16 begin using the tool to fill in the missing areas of sweater with small strokes like this:
Remember: The clone tool is used by right clicking the area you are going to copy then moving it slightly and left clicking! Do both sleeves. Do not merge down yet.
29. Move down to CROW 2. Use clone tool to fill in missing sweater and belly like this:
When I came to the missing button on the right side of the sweater, I right clicked clone the full button then moved up and left clicked above it to get full nice buttons.
NOW you can merge the arms down with the body.
Go to each of the CROWS, 1, 2 AND 3 and apply effects/3d effects/drop shadow/4/-4/opacity 30/blur 3.00.
ANIMATION STATION:
1. Close out CROW 2. Be sure CROW 1 is open. Crow 3 is always open.
2. Go to each of the NOISE LAYERS and apply Effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/Add bright noise/medium setting/65. Go to CONSTELLATION layer and apply effects/filter effects/Xenofex 2/Constellation/settings/2.00/2/2/2/100/100.
3. Layers/merge visible/save as PSP 1.
4. Edit/undo merge visible/undo each of the filter effects.
5. Go to each of the NOISE LAYERS and apply Effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/Add bright noise/medium setting/69. Go to CONSTELLATION layer and apply effects/filter effects/Xenofex 2/Constellation/settings/2.00/2/2/2/100/100. Click on random. Apply.
6. Layers/merge visible/save as PSP 2.
7. Edit/undo merge visible/undo each of the filter effects.
8. Go to each of the NOISE LAYERS and apply Effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/Add bright noise/medium setting/74. Go to CONSTELLATION layer and apply effects/filter effects/Xenofex 2/Constellation/settings/2.00/2/2/2/100/100. Click on random. Apply.
6. Layers/merge visible/save as PSP 3.
9. Edit/undo merge visible/undo each of the filter effects.
CLOSE OUT CROW 1 AND OPEN CROW 2.
10. Go to each of the NOISE LAYERS and apply Effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/Add bright noise/medium setting/78. Go to CONSTELLATION layer and apply effects/filter effects/Xenofex 2/Constellation/settings/2.00/2/2/2/100/100. Click on random. Apply.
11. Layers/merge visible/save as PSP 4.
12. Edit/undo merge visible/undo each of the filter effects.
13. Go to each of the NOISE LAYERS and apply Effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/Add bright noise/medium setting/82. Go to CONSTELLATION layer and apply effects/filter effects/Xenofex 2/Constellation/settings/2.00/2/2/2/100/100. Click on random. Apply.
14. Layers/merge visible/save as PSP 5.
15. Edit/undo merge visible/undo each of the filter effects.
16. Go to each of the NOISE LAYERS and apply Effects/filter effects/DSB Flux/Add bright noise/medium setting/82. Go to CONSTELLATION layer and apply effects/filter effects/Xenofex 2/Constellation/settings/2.00/2/2/2/100/100. Click on random. Apply.
17. Layers/merge visible/save as PSP 6.
ANIMATION SHOP
Open your animation shop. Edit/select all/propagate paste.
Go to Animation wizard.
Next-Next-Next-Frame Properties 12 - Add Images in this order:
