Star-gazing

 


Supplies:

Tube of choice

 

Filters needed:

Toadies Ommadawn

Animation Shop

 

 

 

Open a new image 600 x 300.

Select 2 shades of the same color from your tube or a complimentary color   – foreground should be a light to medium light shade and the background a medium dark to dark shade.

Change your foreground to gradient with the below settings:


 

Fill working image with gradient.

Adjust – blur – gaussian blur – set at 7

On the background layer – apply Toadies Ommadawn with the settings shown:


 

Flip your color choices so the darker shade is your foreground and close out the background color

Select a star from your preset shapes option with the following settings:


 

Draw out a star – convert to raster.  Copy 2 times. Arrange your stars as you like, overlapping if you wish.

When happy with the stars position – merge the three stars together. Position on either the left or right hand side.

With the star layer selected  – click inside each star.

Selection – expand by 1. Select background layer – promote selection to layer.  Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube.  Place opposite of your stars.

On your promoted layer – flip and reposition under the star outline.

Now on this layer – select all – float.

Effeccts – Illumination – Lights with the settings below:



 Deselect.

Open A/S – in PSP, copy merged, then paste as a new animation in A/S.

Back in PSP – undo 2 times – apply lights with these settings:



 

Copy merged, Paste After in A/S.

Repeat the above, using the same settings below:


 

 

Select all frames – go to Animation – Frames – change properties to 25.

Run and save!
